ABOUT US

OUR STORY

Founded in 1995 by Ernie and Kerry Chrapko, St. Brides Trading Post has become a retail staple in the Indigenous community, providing a large supply of beads, fabric, regalia belts, ribbon and much much more. Over the years, St. Brides Trading Post has even landed itself at To Do Canada’s #1 spot of things to do while visiting the Town of St. Paul, Alberta. What an honor to have their hard work recognized.

With retirement on the horizon for Ernie and Kerry, St. Brides Trading Post has begun the transition to becoming exclusively an online store. And that is where I come in. Hi, I’m Erin Gladue, youngest of Ernie and Kerry’s two daughters. I am a small business owner and busy Pow Wow Mom of 2 incredible little boys who absolutely love to dance!

Rest assured that becoming an online store does not mean that the small-town charm will be lost. The product quality will remain the exact same and your orders will be packaged with the utmost care and attention that all customers have grown to expect from St. Brides Trading Post.

As for Ernie and Kerry, you might see their faces more on the Pow Wow trail, as they will have more free time to watch their two grandson’s dance.

I look forward to serving all returning and new shoppers and graciously thank you for your years of continued support.
